We're often asked whether the two stables can be taken together, and the answer is yes. Oak and Elm sit side by side in our garden, so taking the whole place gives you two 5ft king-size beds, two shower rooms, two open-plan living spaces and two patios, all on the ground floor, with a signed parking space for each stable. It suits two couples travelling together, or one couple who simply want everything to themselves. The whole place books as adults only: up to four adults and up to four dogs, and as everywhere at Chapel Hill, the dogs come free.
The biggest difference is the paddocks. Each stable has its own; take the whole place and both are yours, sole use, for as long as you're here. One of our guests put it better than we could: "Our dog loved the large enclosed space where he could run around safely and securely." With a whole-place booking, that space belongs to your dogs and nobody else's.
If your dog is reactive around other dogs, or recall isn't their strong point, this is the honest way to stay with us: with the whole place there are no other guests' dogs on site, and both paddocks are private to your party. One thing we'll always say plainly, though: this is our home, we have a dog of our own, and family sometimes visit with theirs.
